In 2006, White Construction took on the task of building this scenic park for Shelby County located at Bill
Morris Parkway and Forrest Hill Irene.
This project involved the realignment and stabilization of a major drainage tributary to NonConnah Creek.
The success of this project required extensive design engineering to address the unforseen challenges
created by the large volumes of storm water runoff discharging into NonConnah Creek.
The final product proved to be a beautiful amenity utilized daily by our community.
This project consisted of earthwork, lake and levee construction, drainage canal realignment and
stabilization, steadfast bridge construction, amphitheater construction, base and paving and walking trails
connecting the park to Micro's Athletic soccer complex which required the construction of a concrete
walkway underneath Bill Morris parkway.
